Itinerary Darjeeling–Gangtok Tour
Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative, and drive to Gangtok; upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening you are free to explore the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast, proceed to Tsongmo Lake (12,210 ft.) and Baba Mandir, a 40 km drive that takes 2.5 hrs. This lake is located very close to Nathula Pass (on a direct payment basis), which is the entry point to China termed the “Silk Route and remains frozen for most parts of the year. The lake is home to the Brahminy ducks and many migratory birds. Nearby is the Sacred Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth. In the evening you are free for your own activities. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Note: For Nathula Pass:
Nathula Pass is closed to visitors on Monday and Tuesday.
In case of a slide or any reason, Tsomgo Lake is closed, so we will provide alternate sightseeing at Gangtok.
The Nathula Pass visit will be on a direct payment basis because it depends on the availability of permits from the army and is subject to weather & road conditions.
Morning after breakfast visit Ganesh Tok, Tashi View Point, Gonzang Monastery, Bakthang WaterFalls, Handicrafts (Handloom), Ridge Flower Park, Lhasa Falls, Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, Namgyal Institute of tibetology, Kanchenjunga Mountain, Ropeway (pay yourself). After sightseeing, back to the hotel and an overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Darjeeling—’’Hill’of Queens.’’. On the way you will see amazing Mountains, the stream of Tista River, Hills and Greenery Nature.
